This sweet little family’s came my way for the first time this fall, and I was SO privileged they did! The girls were a giggling bunch of cuties who listened so well and also had just enough spunk to them to make the shoot fun and true to their character. W Family, I look forward to seeing you again! <3

I feel like I need to add a little disclaimer to this post. I’m not really a crafter, and I rarely do things the right way. This isn’t really a tutorial, it’s more like a “hey, look what I did, and you should do something like this, too.” And finally, my girls’ room is so so sooooo not finished yet, but I’m making progress. Which is what lead me to getting my craft on yesterday, and deciding midway through, “hmmm…. Read more »

Little T is as adorable as all get out. He definitely decided to give me a tough time the day of his newborn session, but he didn’t know that I always win. ;) His newborn photos reflect his parents’ love of country and motorcycle riding. Such a sweet little man. Such an adorable nursery! Loved the details in his room.

In August, I had to keep the most adorable and sweetest secret for two weeks–a client was going to propose to his (then) girlfriend at Disneyland! In front of Sleeping Beauty’s castle! And he wanted me to capture it all. Details were ironed out, communication was ongoing that morning, and I was ready to go at the park’s opening. Here are a few from that magical morning. Absolute shock and surprise! At that moment, it all hit her. It actually… Read more »

These sweet girls hit some big milestones in August! The twin girls turned one, and Miss H turned 10! We started with an in-studio cake smash and moved outdoors for portraits and a glitter fest. What a FUN day. I had such a great time in the weeks leading up to it coordinating props and outfits with mama. A super picture-heavy post, but I couldn’t choose my faves, the girls are just too cute!

My sweet friend Cara was smart to think ahead back in July. Her mom was visiting from out of state, and although they had a very busy schedule planned during her visit, Cara carved out time for her yearly family photo session, and included her mom with her session. Great idea! Sorry for the bazillion pictures in this post…there were so many more I wanted to post of this gorgeous family, I had a hard time narrowing it down!

This little chickie (you’ll remember her from here) stopped by early in July for her 3 month photos. <3 But I’m so behind on blogging sessions that I’ll soon be doing her 6 month photos/family session. HA! But I couldn’t NOT feature her on the blog. 3 month photos are hard. They aren’t sitting up, they can get cranky at that age, there isn’t much to necessarily do with them at 3 months…but they’re still so cute! Love her sweet… Read more »

Sweet little Paige was such a little doll during her newborn session, letting me pose her any way I wanted! She was like my typical newborn clients, let me move her around right away, got a wee bit fussy on me for a while there, and settled back down again to finish the session. I don’t expect anything different nowadays!
